Full sunshine today will help to lift us into the upper 40s this - TopicsExpress

Full sunshine today will help to lift us into the upper 40s this afternoon, and then a mix of sun and clouds will have us in the upper 50s tomorrow. And then the bottom falls out. We will not get out of the 30s on Thursday with a howling north wind keeping wind chills in the teens all day long. The overcast conditions on Thursday will truly make for a gray and bitter winters day. The spotty do-nothing showers that we have been advertising with the passage of this front will now more likely be spotty do-nothing flurries since temperatures are going to be 10 degrees colder than what I was expecting last weekend. The air is going to be so dry, however, that much of the flurry action will evaporate before hitting the ground, but there could be a few horizontal flurries in 20% of north Texas Thursday evening. A rapid warm-up will have us back into the 50s and 60s for the weekend.
