Full time, 2-1 Chels...another good work out, JT looks ready to run the Boston and London marathons next week, Zouma the beast played a full 90 and again did very well in my opinion, yet is a little raw and does still have work to do on his positional sense at times - but look at the man he can learn alongside!...Filipe Luis again looked like a nailed down piece of furniture on the left-hand side and showed the neatness of touch, interchange, and the desire to get forward and provide quality that we have come accustomed to of him...probably the stand out show was that of Cesc - neat, tidy, forward-thinking, and already looks as though he wants to be the main man in the middle - taking every free-kick and corner, and was pivotal to much of our forward play...but most pleasingly of all was Diegos goal - anyone who has watched him in Spain could have sworn he had red and white stripes on his back as he ran the channel and powered the ball past the keeper...fitness is showing, the youngsters are adding some flavour to the performances, and next week will bring even more of our core to preseason :) another solid afternoon - I dont think I have looked forward to a season as much as the one to come! We have some squad folkes!!! #cfc UTC!!
