RESPONSIBLITIES The assistant pool manager is a salaried employee who is expected to help manage the pool and assist in every phase of its operation. Among the duties but not limited to, he or she will be responsible for: -Working with the Board to hire staff members -Assist in planning and scheduling special events, staff hours, and classes -Tracking supply and concession needs -Making safety and mechanical checks and reports - Providing input for employee evaluations -And other duties outlined and reviewed upon hiring MINIMUM QULIFICATIONS Current certification or willingness to become certified in the following areas: -First Responder CPR and Community First Aid -Life guard Certified (required) -Love of outdoor summer fun! Qualified Candidates will be: -Able to assist in the management of 10-15 employees -Personable -Able to effectively communicate with families, patrons, and staff -Detailed Orientated -Able to carry out all policies and procedures that are established by the Pool Board of Directors and Pool Manager -Ensure the safety of patrons and staff -Maintain a safe outdoor pool environment -Work closely and in a supportive capacity with the Pool Manager
