Fun Time at Greater Boston and Americas Oldest Fair (est. 1818)... The Topsfield Fair today. Jodi and I, along with our friends Tracy and Richard weathered the crowd and had a great time at Greater Bostons Fair on this beautiful 66 degree sunny day. The first order of the day was in search of the Famous Smoked Turkey Leg, German Fries and Corn on the Cob. Then it was time to explore the animal barns... Jodis favorite (the Cow Barn), and then find the Great Pumpkin. This years Pumpkin winner weighed in at 1900 lbs. But my favorite part of the day was the Revolutionary and Civil War Exhibit. Today I was finally able to hold an actual Musket. The Sand Castle Exhibit was most impressive. Here in Boston... The Topsfield Fair is our big fair... even though we also have The Big E in Western Mass.
