Fun day in city. Tuk-tuk driver arrrived at 8 am and we saw Grand Palace (very pretty) and Silver Pagoda. Then off to Central Market. Very dangerous because so much cool stuff cheap. Then stopped by Wat Phnom, site where (supposedly) the city of Phnom Penh was started in 1300s. Gorgeous city park with lovely temple on top of a small hill. Off then for a long ride along the river to enjoy the scenery, both pretty and not so much. Final stop Kingdom Brewery, where we took the tour (took our driver alongfor fun). Checked out their beer and hard cider (cider AMAZING) and got to meet the British cider master. Back to hotel just as rain began in afternoon to rest. A good day! Have to admit Phnom Penh is growing on me.
