Fundraising allows us to help dogs in need like our fan out in Nevada named Lisa. Lisa reached out to us last month looking for emergency help for her dog Mama who was playing with a stick at the dog park and somehow it caused a deep laceration in her throat. After that Lisa noticed Mama wasnt eating she brought her to Sierra Veterinary Hospital in hopes they could figure out what kind of care she needed. And with the financial help from us, some anonymous donors and Shakespeare Animal Fund we were able to help get Mamas seen at the emergency clinic and buy the medication she needed to get better. Lisa has been living in a hotel with her two pits since she lost her home. Shes getting back on her feet and just got a new job! Lisa your dedication to your dogs is amazing and is exactly what Lilly the Hero Pit Bull Fund is all about! Lisa will post pics below of her baby Mama who has made a complete recovery and her other pup Bella!
