It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Phillip Eyres, who died in the arms of his loving wife, Dr, Gill White, at the Royal Hospital Muscat at 6pm on Saturday 2nd November 2013. Stan was 80 years old. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Services on Thursday 7th November at the PDO cemetery at 9am followed by coffee at Michel and Hillary’s place – Villa 9 Buraimi, Qurum Heights Residence. The Cemetery is in the Ras Al Hamra area (PDO) on the right side of the road if you are going to the Recreation Club from the Shell Gas Pump… Take the first sideroad to the right. This tarmac road leads to a valley between two ridges. The entrance of the road has a barrier which is mostly open. Drive to the end of the tarmac road. Continue straight for approx 400m until you see OAB ATM on the left. Take next right: Al Ilam St. Take next right: signposted – Office for Conservation & Environment Royal Court Pension Fund Continue for approx 50m, around left bend and you will see large gray gates to the Qurum Heights Residence compound on the right.
