Funeral services for Michael Wayne Wages, 64, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery near Gore Springs, MS. Visitation is Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the National Funeral Home. Mr. Wages died April 17, 2014 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenwood, MS. He was born in Houston, MS on July 14, 1949 and was the son of the late Authur Elmer Wages and Ada Faye Tunnel Wages. Mr. Wages was employed by True Value as a Sales Manger. He was a member of Pearson Chapel Nazarene Church and attended Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances Wages of Gore Springs, MS; 1 son, John Michael Wages (Renee) of Grenada; 1 step-daughter, Kimberly Shay Schoeneck (Paul) of Flowood, MS; 1 step-son, Shawn Wayne Davis (Jennifer) of Water Valley, MS; 1 sister, Elaine Coleman of Houlka, MS; 1 brother, James Elmer Wages of Houston, MS; and 7 grandchildren .
