Funny--I just mentioned people helping each other and just now a car narrowly missed 3 cars in my office parking lot. IT then jumped the curb, u-turned and nicked one car and was headed right at out building...i ran out-thinking someone was drunk and realized an elderly woman was in serious trouble!! I waved my hands for her to stop and thank GOD she had the presence of mind to do so. She was having difficulty breathing so I put her car in park, turned up her AC and had our office called 911. My co workers Mary Beth ONeill Frank and Rick Yochum were also out there and together we kept her calm. She told me she had trouble breathing, which was apparent. Poor woman lives alone but did have a list of contacts with her. She hesitated in leeting us call someone but but agreed to allow Mary Beth to call her niece. The ambulance, fire and police dept are here now and thankfully she is stablized. I never doubted my friends would step up and today it was proven AGAIN!
