Funny how everyone is all of a sudden afraid of their privacy - TopicsExpress

Funny how everyone is all of a sudden afraid of their privacy being invaded by Facebook Messenger, news flash, the minute you started surfing the internet, playing games, shopping, accessing Google maps, yelp, etc, your privacy was so called invaide. All apps and search engines collect your data and behavior, why else would they know you are shopping for a new car, sandals looking for a great vacation spot, or like playing farm rescue. There is no such thing as free, everything must be paid for somehow and these free apps have always sold your behavior to advertisers. As for accessing your camera, mic etc, some apps and parts of apps use these features so they need permission to access them. If you want to take a pic and send it via messenger how will it access your camera? If you want to make a call how will the call feature access your phonebook if not given permission?
