I went to see my orthopedist today. The joint has deteriorated to the extent that he wanted to do an MRI right away, take X-rays and probably scope out the tear in my meniscus so I could walk without pain again...maybe event run again. Without running, I have gained so much weight. I cant even look at my shadow anymore. Knowing my healthcare insurance situation, he said the bad news is....you have to wait until January. The good news...I can have it all done in January for about $500 given the benefits of my current application for affordable insurance. To hear that - you cannot know - is my second wind. There is no substitute for good, right information. So sickened by the tired conservative pundits who are so desperate - its like watching a car full of clowns, driving off a cliff. Did you see the interview with Sarah Palin with Matt Lauer. It would be a laughable disgrace except she remains relevant enough to a certain segment of the population that shes keeps getting national media attention.
