Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan. Stunning place. Ive wasted a dozen hours trying to decide how to post, 1 pic not enough but a collage lessens impact. Found this vid, nicely and dreamily done as a sequence of faded stills (tho Id prefer trippier ethereal music). If vid play doesnt start at 2:23, click the link instead of Play button or just note the sequence starting then which showcases the ravishing play of light inside the Torri Tunnels, made of thousands of arches, each donated in memory of a being who has journeyed beyond the material plane. They wind their way the mountainside, at times branching into multiple paths. Open 24/7 and illuminated at night when they say can be only you and the spirits at times. On my bucket list: go about 3AM and walk till dawn casts splendiferous enveloping crisscrossing shadow-fans.
