Extract and analyses LinkedIn data to drive product strategy. 2. Formulate success metrics for completely novel products. 3. Design, build and use tools for understanding how our products perform. 4. Design and analyse experiments to test new product ideas. Basic Qualifications: 1. BS/MS in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc. 2. 1+ years’ experience working with large amounts of real data. 3. Expertise in applied statistics, including regression models. 4. Able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses. 5. Able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 6. Expertise in at least one statistical software package. 7. Proficiency in SQL. 8. Advanced skills in a scripting language such as Python. Preferred Qualifications: 1. PhD in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc. 2. 3+ years experience working with large amounts of real data. 3. Advanced skills in Java/C++. 4.
