According to Park Seok Boon, Solidarity for Peace And Reunification of Korea: In the government drill, around 480,000 personnel from more than 4,000 administrative, public institutes, civilian enterprises join UFG, while in the military drill, around 30,000 US military and 50,000 ROK military. The [US-controlled] UN Command-dispatching nations such as Australia, Denmark, France observe the exercise. For reference, in the RIM of Pacific war drill, June 25 to Aug. 1, this year, around 25,000 soldiers along with war vessels and aircrafts from 23 nations joined it. According to Park, so called tailored deterrence strategy that was partly applied to the Key Resolve war exercise this spring is to be verified through simulation reflected of concrete scenario and deterrence methods.
