MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES • Developing and maintaining financial models for an assigned list of companies in the sector and relative value tables comparing operating and financial metrics across the coverage universe • Assisting in writing and editing desk analyst notes and other commentary • Maintaining database of upcoming events related to companies in coverage universe, including earnings reports, conference appearances, analyst and investor days and anticipated company operations updates • Participating in calls with customers EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION • Bachelor’s degree with a preference for related fields such as Accounting, Economics or Finance • Series 7 and 63 (each of which can be obtained after hiring date) EXPERIENCE • 1-3 years professional experience in Investment Banking or Research role • Work experience in Leveraged Finance, Fixed Income research or Oil & Gas is an advantage SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Strong quantitative skills o Microsoft Excel required • Financial modeling capabilities, including three statement models o Experience with industry-specific modeling techniques, such as decline curves, is an advantage • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly motivated, committed, and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team Contact: GMPLLC_EnergyRecruitment@gmpsecurities TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Yeshiva University Wall Street Jobs Group: The Yeshiva University Career Center acts only as a referral service.
