Fyi, This is a major problem that people have with Washington. There seems to be a parallel government that is oblivious to public opinion. That is essentially a blatant disregard for the idea of Democratic process as laid out in US Constitutional law and precedence. The inconvenient truth is that the US shouyld no longer be referred to as a constitutional Democracy, because defacto, it is not. All of our comforting notions of voting and citizenship are being shredded and our elected leaders could care less what WE want becazuse they are owned by a small group of billionaires and companies that are NOT beholding to US law and regulations, thanks to the anti-government politicians that have taken over the GOP and the weak and ineffectual Democratic opposition that would make any REAL Democrat sick to the point of nausea. The Democratic party and the president are not REAL Democrats, or they have chosen not to act like REAL Democrats. The question I would have is, what has scared the Backbone, common sense and decency out of these people?
