GASTRIC ULCERS How Forever Living Aloe Gel has helped my friend Charlottes horse Case Study - Hugo - 16.2hh, 8yo British Sporthorse Gelding. Hugo was diagnosed with Gastric Ulcers Grade 2 in Sept 2012 and was treated with Gastroguard (very expensive & was not liked by Hugo!) then, despite correct management, Hugo had low-grade ulcers again March 2013. I then tried Gastri-Vet (again, expensive...) which helped a little but not enough . Hugo started to crib-bit, hated being tacked up, hated being girthed & his ridden performance decreased slightly . He allowed me to tack him up happily, the crib-biting reduced.. then 6 weeks later, even more improvement! Absolutely no crib-biting, doesnt mind being tacked up, girth goes on no problem now! His coat is absolutely beautiful & glossy (and he is a Grey!) and he is in perfect condition now. He is so much happier in himself and his performace is back to his best.
