GE is an equal opportunity employer Posted Position Title: GE Site Technical Leader Career Level: Experienced Function: Sales Function Segment: Sales Management Location: Oman U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Other Oman OM Postal Code: Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: Site technical leader to support existing and new oilfield chemicals particularly enhanced oil recovery based in Oman The role would involve working closely with customer, GE associates , product management and account manager to support existing accounts on daily activities and meet customer KPI’s with site applications. Role will be rotation-based, with 4 weeks on, and 4 weeks off rotations. Essential Responsibilities: Main responsibilities are - Ensure lines of communication to Buyer Company Representatives and Company Site Representatives are maintained to successfully deliver contract scope. - Review the chemical injection rates of all production chemicals under this contract, and ensure compliance with the operational excellence Blade 28 guideline in line with the KPI’s. - Responsible for coordinating Seller resources (in relation to the scope) and be the point of contact for all onsite activity. - Provide early, on-site trouble-shooting response and act as a channel to utilize the process support and technical support available from the wider Seller’s team. - Work with the Buyer’s Company Site Representative to identify and execute on opportunities to tune plant processes to achieve optimal technical and economic performance. - Work with onsite Buyer team to identify necessary spares and consumables stocking and ordering schedule. - Track KPIs and Value Delivery Projects. - Facilitate Buyer operator training. - Oversee all elements of the chemical water treatment programs during this contract. - Prepare written recommendations for program changes and improvements. - Comply with Buyer’s field safety requirements Qualifications/Requirements: - A thorough knowledge of all aspects of water treatment technology with appropriate knowledge of remedial practices. - Fluent in both spoken and written English. - BSc Chemical Engineer/ Chemistry /Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years experience in water treatment industry preferred Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong attention to detail Strong teamwork skills Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
