GEE WALLY... With his timid set of pipes and ever present spectacles, comic actor WALLY COX was almost always cast as a brainy milquetoast, whether as star of his own popular 1950s TV series MR. PEEPERS, or as a guest on THE TWILIGHT ZONE, THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and THE LUCY SHOW. However, its his stints as the upper left corner of THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES and the voice of rhyming crime-stopper UNDERDOG for which he will always be most fondly remembered.
