GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL GAMES Any player who is unable to play is expected to find a substitute from the reserve list in the first instance or failing that, the remainder of the membership. INFORM YOUR SKIP OF THE SUBSTITUTION The substitute should play no higher than the position of the person replaced or lower if the skip decides. THE FREE GUARD ZONE APPLIES IN ALL MATCHES Please enter the players names on the reverse of the score card. It is the responsibility of the skip to ensure that the score cards are handed to the club secretary. PLEASE NOTE SYLLABUS LAYOUT Teams are grouped in tabular form with one of the following codes preceding the players name. S = SKIP 3 = THIRD 2 = SECOND L = LEAD This is only the suggested team order. The skip may choose a different order. The Jim Brown Quaich differs in that the skip must be the player who played third in the Balmain Cup.
