GENTLEMEN OF ROCK... Yes that means all of you.... Look, folks from reading round your various pages, posts and comments over the last few months it seems that we have all got one BIG THING in common when it comes to music and our present or past lives.. This is, that in one way or another we have all played in, worked in, gigged with or done whatever in Bands of some description. Whether they be famous, infamous, legends, or nameless, or an embarassment (like mine).... The other thing we all have in common is the general Banter between us all at various times... Some good, bad, funny, piss take, or whatever the subject is at that time...... What it needs is all of these past or present experiences, stories, happenings, events, gigs, opinions, in fact the whole nine yards as they say of our musical lives and experiences all bringing together and putting on to one Facebook page. Whether Public page or not, or not you decide. But it would be a fantastic platform for all to get on to to tell their stories the way they saw the industry through its innovations and development to what it has become today...... OK bullshit over..... So what do you think of the idea of me setting up a Facebook page where we can all put our input and experiences and comments regardless of what they are, and spread the word to others to get on board.. it should make for some great laughs as well possibly serve as a platform for Newbies to learn from or at least get a true insight into the truth, ups and downs and sometimes weird side of the Music Biz both on and off the road and even the Studio side... Just think we could create something Simon Cowell has no control over.......thats absolute freedom of speech about the industry before Cowell could even say multi millionaire..... WELL what do you think Gents... But it will need your help ... please. I intend calling it The Ageing Rockers... (Please I mean no offence to anyone by the name....) So kindly please feedback to me and Ill get on it straight away and keep you informed.
