GEORGE TOWN: A 50-year old self employed man caused a stir today here when he shot himself in the head.. Goh Kim Leong, died on the spot following a gunshot wound to the right side of his head at Taman Sri Bunga flats off Jalan Perak here today. State Criminal Investigations Department chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said at least four witnesses who knew Goh told police Goh looked angry prior to the 4pm incident. "Four witnesses said Goh was moody and started hurling verbal abuses near an altar. "They spotted him carrying a pistol before and decided to leave him alone. The group had just left the scene before a deafening gunshot sound brought them back to the common area on the ground floor, " Mazlan told the media. He said the four, in their 20s and 40s saw Goh lying face down with a semi-auto pistol placed next to him. A bullet casing was also recovered at the scene. Mazlan said the police forensics team found the firearm was loaded with two live bullets found in the chamber and magazine respectively. "Our initial investigations showed that there is no foul play," he added. Mazlan said the four witnesses were summoned to have their statements recorded. He did not rule out the possibility that a family feud had cost him his life. Mazlan said Goh was from Balik Pulau but lived in the Batu Lanchang area
