GEORGE ZIMMERMAN/TRAYVON MARTIN TRIAL A not guilty verdict is no surprise. I stand by that the defense took a risk not calling Zimmerman in a self defense case. Of course he did get his interviews played. The Governor should have stayed out of it in the first place. Also, for the Justice Department to be involved is even more ridiculous. I’ve never seen so much over analysis and news over such a simple and legally inconsequential case. (Trayvon Martin’s life is a serious issue, but this was a “run of the mill” self defense case.) I’m one who agrees with the verdict, still bothered by Zimmerman.
