GERMAN TV CHANNEL PRESSURED TO TELL THE TRUTH! A major German TV channel ARD shocked the public with a sincere desire to expose their own shortcomings. This time the editors apologized for misrepresentation in the May story about the events in Ukraine and deleted it from the archive. This was reported by the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel. In the report their Moscow correspondent blamed the deaths of two residents of the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk region on the militia. And now - as explained by the management of ARD, after additional testing - it turned out that the townspeople were killed by the soldiers of volunteer group which fought on the side of Kiev, reported Russia 24. Such recognition is not the first by ARD. Just recently the editor-in-chief announced that the channel intends to revise the coverage policy in the direction of greater objectivity. The reason is the growing number of complaints from viewers. In mid-September, the channels website was flooded by numerous accusations of bias and anti-Russian propaganda. P.S. German public media as well as leading private TV channels and newspapers have a crystal clear stance as one sided war party, which support heavily the position of the larger Germans elite fraction, bound to the US - the transatlantics. But unfortunately (for them), there is also a written task for public TV what they have to deliver in return for the 7 billion Euro funding, they get yearly. And there is a body overseeing if they act according to their task. And like one sided propaganda, often directly spinned by Kiev or US sources is everything but objective and fair information, the body claimed some weeks ago after having revisited a few dozens of TV productions, a very biased bad work compared to the task. And the internal report regarding the harsh critic was leaked to alternative media and came that way to the propaganda resisting public and led after that to a discussion also in mainstream media. But to sum it up, they placed a coverage spin, where they admitted some single wrong information aired publicly and try by this minor correction reclaim objectivity without changing their extremely biased propaganda efforts.
