GESTATION PERIOD VARIES … All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes. Job14:14(NKJV) God had remembered all of my mates except for me. A friend complained, I’ve prayed, fasted,sown seeds and sought after righteousness but things are still very difficult for me he continued, I looked at him and smiled. The first elephant in the face of the earth also said the same thing, he too murmured and asked God what it has done wrong when the rat is giving birth to several babies in a matter of weeks, when rabbits, goats even humans don’t have to wait that long till they have their own babies but after two years and four months of waiting, the elephant knew why he has to wait; its baby came not just big but grows so big that you can’t compare a thousand rats, a hundred rabbits or ten humans to an elephant. Since then the elephant no longer complain why its gestation period has to delay till two years and four months before it is delivered of its baby. Depressions come when we begin to compare ourselves with others. God made us unique and our success times are like animals various gestation period(gestation period is the period between conception and childbirth), this man just took jamb and got admission while another has to wait some times before he gets his, this one just graduated and got a job while another has to wait before he gets his, this man just got married and got achild while another has to wait before he will have a baby and so on and so forth but the goodnews is, whenever the blessing is coming late, it is coming big. Animals with longer gestation period always give birth to big babies while those with shorter gestation period have little things as babies. If your blessings as a child of God has delayed, take note that it is coming big; bigger than those that had gotten theirs before you. If you’ve not yet married and your mates and even younger ones have, then your husband will be a great person. Job said, he will wait till his change comes even though he was sick, rejected by wife and family, accused of evil by friends, lost all his wealth and children yet he still has faith that a change is coming. Never allow what you are passing through now make you doubt that your change will not come, I tell you that your change will surely come, yes, it’s coming big is Jesus name. God bless you.
