GETTING THE WORD OUT Did you know that Purim has a prophetic significance? Each year we celebrate G-ds irresistible grace and care for Israel during the Feast of Purim. Yet there remains a prophetic dimension to be fulfilled in Acharit Hayamim (The End of Days). Purim will be celebrated even after the redemption of the End of Days; for G-ds covenantal faithfulness and defense of His people will be magnified in the deliverances leading to the establishment of the Kingdom on earth. The Second Coming of our Messiah can be regarded as the final fulfillment of Purim. Haman was a type of anti-Messiah who wanted to see the destruction of the Jewish people. In the New Testament , there will be coming one who is the embodiment of the spirit of Haman, and of Hitler, and of all other anti-semitic murderers through the ages. This one will be the man of sin of the Messiah of evil (ll Thess 2:3-4) who will feign friendship to Israel but will ultimately betray her in seeking her destruction. Satans final attempt will be foiled just as Hamans was. When Yeshua HaMaschiach (Jesus the Messiah) returns, He will destroy the anti- by the Word of His power and physically deliver Israel as her rightful King and Lord. The rejoicing of that Purim will surpass all others!
