Poor Gato must be in TERRIBLE pain, but it’s not all bad news, for the ACC’s latest medical update says: “PATIENT MUCH MORE CALM THIS MORNING. LARGE AMOUNTS OF URINE IN CAGE. SMALL SOFT BLADDER ON PALPATION. PRODUCES GOOD URINE STREAM. PENIS IS PINK. NO STRAINING NOTED. A: BLADDER STONES OBESE CRYSTALURIA P: CONTINUE TO MONITOR”. Bladder crystals can be treated through DIET, not lethal injection, but the latter option is what the ACC has in mind for Gato, at noon tomorrow. This sweet boy is “friendly” with both kids & strangers & “always” uses his litter box. Plus, he’s a gentle giant (18.5 lbs.!); his former owners noted that he doesn’t ever scratch anyone.
