The Lafon family has now been blessed with the birth of their first child, their son Caleb Lafon! Caleb was born on December 10, 2013 at 3:14am. He was 7lbs and 13oz, and 21 inches long. His mother Jessica is out of work for about three months, and during this time she will only receive 60% of her normal full time income. Her husband Phil has been on a part time job at just 20 hours per week, however last week his boss decided to cut their evening hours on the job for the winter, and he will now only get 12 hours per week. Because we know how tough it is even with the full income and a new baby, and due to the fact that they are trying to survive on less than half now of their usual income, we are collecting donations with this fundraiser to insure they are able to keep their home, cars, and insure their utilities and power are paid until they are able to continue going back to work.
