>>>>>>>>>GIVE-AWAY SUNDAY SERVICE UPDATES>>>>>>>>>> Scripture: Genesis 1:1 Message: BEYOND LOGIC The word of God is a mystery; it is only those who want to understand beyond simplicity that can begin to be edified by it. The word of God defies all the experiences we have ever known. God wrote Genesis 1 so distinctively that He left it not subject to question as to who wrote it. God is not wrong in language and Genesis 1 does not say “at the beginning but it says “in the beginning”, this means that the beginning had already begun and everything was done IN the beginning and not AT the beginning. When God created the world, He started by giving Himself a throne before a footstool, scripture says “heaven is my throne and the earth my footstool” and in architectural language; a throne is the roof and earth would be the foundation. When you begin to build you start with the foundation then go to the roof, but God suspended the roof which is His throne in thin air before building the foundation. Enlightenment is not having an answer and it is good to ask questions at times because there is a level where not knowing gives enlightenment. Not knowing can also be equated to void-ness, thus in the beginning the world was void and because it was void, God could work on it. The challenge with believers is that they are too full to be filled by God, education and experience has filled them therefore God cannot work with them. We have taken miracles for granted; the God we serve is beyond logic and if you take Him on a logical base, you will lose your miracles: We should never look at Him logically but spiritually. In creating, God created animals so distinctive that no other looked like the other, God even had the audacity to create man in His own image and likeness, if all of us are created in His image, how many images He have because even the Angels will say that they are created in His image. After creating man, He gave Him authority so that when he’d speak, animals would understand that the man speaking to them has authority. The Jesus you serve is beyond logic; how can you explain Jesus feeding over a thousand men {5000 men to precise) with only five loaves? This was not an illusion but a reality because an illusion cannot allow you to go back with leftovers. One time Jesus came to His disciples walking on water after they had left him at the mountain praying. Science says anything that goes on water must sink lest it has the capacity to float and according to a study done by a Harvard professor, a man’s feet must be 2km long so he can walk and balance on water and Jesus’ feet were not that long. MIRACLES DON’T MAKE SENSE.
