Barabas is Counsel at the MJ Patel Law Group in Atlanta, Georgia. Ron is a corporate and entertainment lawyer who recently relocated to Atlanta from New York City where he practiced as an Associate with the firm of Di Santo, Bowles, Bruno & Lutzer, LLP. His entertainment law experience spans a variety of intellectual property, litigation and transactional matters related to film, music, radio, visual art, fashion, interactive development, publishing and sports and has general corporate law experience with significant mergers and acquisitions expertise. In addition, Ron has had increasing involvement with crowdfunding which has included writing and speaking on the subject, industry advocacy, and working with related start-ups. Ron is a member of the New York and Georgia Bar Associations. He graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a BA in English with Honors and received his JD from Emory University School of Law. Originally from New York, Ron now resides in Atlanta with his wife Jenny. His interests outside of work are varied and include literary fiction, film, Crossfit, karaoke, travel and bourbon.
