GLENDALE, AZ. - The red hot Arizona Cardinals could not get the defensive stop they so desperately needed, as the visiting Detroit Lions ends a 7-game win streak wrung together by the Cards. Despite having a great defensive showing and holding All-Pro WR Calvin Johnson to under 100 yards, it was Rookie TE Eric Ebron who along with Stafford, torched the Arizona secondary. My job was Megatron, and thats it, said All-Pro CB Patrick Peterson. The problem is, you cant guard everybody, and the excellent QB play by Stafford hurt us today. The Cardinals will have to have a short memory, as they prepare to hit the road to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion, Seattle Seahakws. We know theyre one of the toughest teams to beat at home, and were gonna have to be able to weather the storm of the 12th man but well go into practice this week and well be ready come this Sunday, said QB Carson Palmer as he was referring to the upcoming game with the Seahawks.
