GLORY TO GOD!!! By DeAnna Berry — 2 minutes ago GOD IS GOOD!!! Briggs is doing really well and had a good night last night and another good day today! He has been lowered all the way down to 1 liter of oxygen. That is amazing, considering where he was just 4 days ago. PTL!!! Doctors still say that his lungs sound clear and that his labs are stable. His counts all went up and this was day 4 of no needed blood transfusions. He is still having platelet transfusions every 6 hours but hopefully his platelet count will go up and stay up. No mention of insulin today, I believe his blood sugar is right on the cusp of needing insulin but I pray that it will go down and that would be stable as well. Briggs and his Dad did therapy in his room today, for the first time in a long time! Briggs has sat up a lot today, been more alert and talking a lot more and making eye contact! These are all HUGE praises!!! Briggs asked his doctor today, if she thought he may could be out of hospital by his 18th birthday, on April 16 and she said, well lets see how you do and keep that as our goal. That would be absolutely AMAZING!!!! Of course, we know that Gods timing and plan is perfect and we will be patient and wait on HIM. We have the end result in sight for our sweet boy. I just dont think that we can say, THANK YOU enough for your prayers, but THANK YOU!!!!! I hope to update tomorrow with another good report. Blessings to you all and good night.
