GM FAMILY AND FRIENDS I pray all had a safe and blessed weekend! Back to work! Father God, in the name of Jesus, I humbly come to You this morning with a grateful heart, a mind at ease and a spirit ready to do Your will, one more day! Lord I thank You for watching over all my family and friends this past weekend and bringing us to another day! Thank You for and on behalf of my wife, my children, my grandchildren, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, host of cousins, in-laws and friends! Father, forgive me for any and every sin I committed against You yesterday, last night and throughout this brand new day Youve blessed me with! Cleanse me Lord with a fresh anointing of Your Spirit today as I go about Your business, showing and sharing the love Youve placed in my heart with others! May the fruit of Your Spirit be manifested within me in a mighty way today! I pray for protection over not just my children, grandchildren and other young children in my family but for all the children of the world! May they rest under the shelter of Your mighty wings as they go to and from today! And Lord, I also ask that Your Spirit of patience take hold of all Your people! Let us respond to situations in ways which are pleasing to You and encouraging to those around us! May our conduct, character and conversation bring glory to You and invite others to not just know about You but to know You, to develop a personal relationship with You! Now Lord God, may the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight for You alone are our Rock and our Redeemer! Its in the mighty, marvelous and wonderful name of Jesus the Christ and for His sake I do pray! Amen! ------- Galatians 5:22-25 We have all kinds of excuses for why we are not patient: stress, ill health, other peoples mistakes, running late, or simply having a bad day. Impatience can cause us to make poor decisions, hurt others or damage relationships! God knows that patience helps us to stay in His will-where His favor rests upon us! We achieve strong, loving, lasting relationships when we are willing to wait for others to change. We also become happier ourselves. We must view our lives as God does and recognize difficulties as disguised opportunities to learn patience! Leave behind the mistaken assumption that success in the Christian life means as absence of problems. Gods purpose is not to provide us with ease, comfort, and pleasure but rather to grow us up into Christlikeness! Patience is one of those grown-up qualities were to have! We also have a personal responsibility to pursue to quality of patience and train ourselves in it! Learn to resist our bad habits, wrong thinking, and negative behavior patterns from the past! Practice responding with kindness and love, even if the other person is unjustly accusing you! It takes time, energy and effort to change our thinking and our responses, but, fortunately, the Holy Spirit is committed to producing this fruit in our lives, with our cooperation! SEE DIFFICULTY AS GOD DOES, THEN RESPOND PATIENTLY! --- Ministry Of Reconciliation & Encouragement BE ENCOURAGED AND BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT Ambassador Young
