GM FB! Its been a while so yall know I got something to say. Idk if anyone heard about it but a man by the name of Eric Garner was choked to death by police in Staten Island New York. I only seen the beginning of the clip bc I couldnt stand to watch the rest and immediately started crying. This man was clearly unarmed and kept saying that they harass him all the time for no reason. What bothers me is that theres many more stories like this that goes unheard. And what bothers me even more is that now theyre able to kill on camera. Almost as if to send a message that we are inferior and should be scared of them. I know most of you will read this and shake your head and move on. Im not asking anyone to do anything per say...but yall we have to start being smarter. WE ARE ALL WE HAVE. Nobody is checking for us and as soon as we figure that out will be better off as one. I get irritated when people try to display one life for us... But live a whole different life that is not so glamorous. NEWSFLASH: if you dont own business, have at least 50,000 in a savings, have no debt, have anything to pass down to your children except more debt, etc. then you are just like every other black person no matter what you wear or what you drive! You are basically building somebody elses dream! Oh and FYI There are many companies like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger and Nautica, just to name a few that do not like black people and have documented that their products are not made for us. But do you think they will refuse your money? So keep making them rich if you want to or better yet...MAKE YOUR OWN! Lastly I see a lot of businesses being started by young black people and Im loving it! But please keep in mind that we also NEED grocery stores, group homes, carwashes, credit unions, convenience stores, beauty supply stores....STOP TRYING TO BE BETTER THAN THE NEXT PERSON AND LETS ALL START BEING SMARTER AND BETTER TOGETHER!!!
