(GMC07SX) Harun Elbinawi There are some people that call themselves Muslims when we post issues concerning the AhlulBayt(as) it makes them sad. When we post the wisdom and words of AhlulBayt(as) it makes them angry and sad. They attack us hiding under the excuse that why do we post only the words of Imam Ali(as) and his sons. We say to these people: Deep in your heart you have the traces of the influence of the hatred of the sons of Abu Sufyan on the AhlulBayt(as). At a time in Islamic history the sons of Abu Sufyan made it a tradition to curse Imam Ali(as) and that despicable tradition lasted for more than 60 years. It was Umar Ibn Abdulaziz(rd) that put a stop to that. Why Imam Ali(as)? Imam Ali(as) is the gate of knowledge of Islam, all the companions of the Prophet(sa) refered to him on issues they do not understand. His knowledge was so vast that none of them came close to him. Someone once asked Abdullahi Ibn Abbas(rd) that what is the difference between your knowledge and that of your cousin(Ali),Ibn Abbas answered that it is like the difference between an ocean and a drop. We considered the AhlulBayt(as) superior to all other Muslims including the companions of the Prophet. This distinction was given to them by Allah in the Quran(33:33) and in other verses of the Holy Quran. If you make Salat upon the Prophet(sa) by saying Allahumma sali ala Muhammad was ali-Muhammad,they are the ali-Muhammad. But the sons of Abu Sufyan not only opposes them, they fought them, murdered them and enslaved their women and children. They cursed them on pulpits of Friday prayers and forced Muslims to do so. So if you are on our Friend list and you use to feel sad and aversion whenever we post their fadail and wisdom, then you better remove us. We do not practice the Islam of the sons of Abu Sufyan, we practice the Islam of Prophet Muhammad(sa) and his AhlulBayt(as).
