GMFBF & F. Its Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Only 6 days remaining in the month of weather issues. The calendar says SPRING but we arent sure. Should we pack away the coats, or should we order more fuel? Oh, well. Dont stress. There WILL be peace in the valley. If today is your birthday or anniversary, I send you a HAPPY. The Easter season is upon us and when we talk about the Cross, it usually leads to controversy, however.....we know that the way of the Cross leads home. There was once a case before the Supreme Court on whether a Cross should be allowed on public land. The Cross has always been controversial. Most of us see the Cross as a powerful, Christian symbol. Many wear a cross around the neck. We feel it is the evidence of Gods power to free us from the tyrranny of our sins. In a diverse and pluralistic society, the controversy over religious symbols will continue. The courts will decide whether a Cross can be displayed on public property, but we can display the power of the Cross through out our lives. We make that decision in our hearts. Nothing speaks more clearly of Gods love than the cross. P. S. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame. O, I love that old Cross, so despised by the world....At the Cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith, I received my sight, and now I am happy all the day...Alas, and did my savior bleed, and did my soverign die...
