GNLF Mirik unit to strengthen party DEEP MILAN PRADHAN, MIRIK, 20 May 2014: The GNLF Mirik unit today convened a meeting at Seyok Tea Garden to discuss about strengthening the party and reestablishing it as a major political outfit in the region. The partys Mirik president Varun Rai chaired the meeting, which decided to find 10 new members from party’s each village and town units to form a 70 member representative from Mirik. These members will be active in reestablishing the party and strengthening its support base in each unit. The meeting was also attended by GNLF’s Gopaldhara unit chief Padam Thami, Prasit Rai from Okety, Amar Thapa from Tharbu, Bandana Rai from Marma, Bimla Rai and DB Chettri from Mirik village unit and Jeewan Pradhan from Siyog.
