GNYC -Every one of us is capable of being an agent for change. We are each capable in some way of drawing attention to the things that matter most to us and each other. Raising awareness of youth issues, working together and building partnerships is one way the youth of Guyana can speak with one voice and network to find many solutions. The G.N.Y.C team hit the streets around the capital and the University of Guyana campus to engage the youth on the topic of why youth issues are important and why its important to be vocal about those issues. What followed was great! This video marks the launch of the Guyana National Youth Councils My Voice Matters campaign which seeks to encourage youth advocacy and participation in the democratic process. If youd like to join the conversation send us a short video or audio clip telling us why youth issues are important to you and why you think it is important to speak out in order to achieve positive change.
