GOD....CAN YOU BUY ME A CUP OF COFFEE?..My mission and inspiration this week was to help 5 families with children who are poor and have a hard time putting food on the table. While the children get breakfast and lunch through the school programs (not Obamacare because they would be entitled to half of the kids plate sitting next to them at school) when they get home or during the weekends they go hungry. No child should ever go hungry especially in America. So I had my list and spent the day going to 3 different grocery stores. My budget was $200. I had no coupons. I am not a coupon clipper and frankly wouldnt know how to use them. So for all you mothers out there I salute you. In fact some mothers are so smart with coupons that when they are done checking out, the store it seems actually just paid them to take their groceries. I wish I could have done more or met the children that I have helped. I have been trying to lose weight anyway so in a way less food for me and more food for them. So as I check out and see the $$$ racking up, knowing my budget is $200....finally it stops. The clerk says to me that will be $199 please. WOW. That left me with $1. So this Sunday at church I stopped in the church cafe and ordered a cup of coffee, 2 cream 2 sugars. $1 please she said. That was the best cup of coffee I have ever had.
