GOD HAS LITERALLY SLAPPED ME WITH TODAYS DEVOTION!!!! Faith Will Allow You to Let God Take Over “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God…” Romans 4:20 (NIV) Have you ever found yourself in a situation where God is telling you to do something but you’re too afraid? After all, you’re accustomed to the life you live and you’re comfortable. But, you aren’t growing. You aren’t growing in love, in Christ, or in any other areas of your life. And now, God is asking you to move. To give it all up and walk toward something better that He has planned for you. You’ll have to sacrifice some things you want to keep. Some people might even think you’re crazy because the vision you have doesn’t look like what they’d expect of God. You may also have to willingly walk into a situation where it would be impossible for you to succeed unless God comes through! For the first time in your life, you may have to put everything on the line and believe that God will carry you. But you won’t be able to do it without faith. Your faith in God is the very thing that will allow you to let go, and let God take over. You’ll have to have faith that although God is removing certain things from your life, He will replace them with things that are greater. You’ll have to have faith that while you may not have support in the natural, you will have abundant support from the Holy Spirit. You’ll have to have faith that although nobody understands what you’re doing, you are His sheep and you know His voice. One of God’s many promises is that He will take care of us in all circumstances. His will never lead us where His grace cannot protect us. Whatever God is asking you to do today, have faith that he has your heart and future in mind. Prayer: Dear Father, we know that You love and care for us. Help us to hand our lives over to You in faith that You know what’s best for us. Forgive us for being afraid when we don’t recognize what You’re doing and comfort us and cover us with Your love. In times of doubt and confusion, remind us that You will never lead us astray. Increase our faith in Your will and promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
