GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US 24 OCTOBER Daily Readings 1. 2 Chronicles 20 2. Daniel 2 3. John 20-21 Praise be to the name of God forever and ever, wisdom and power are His. He changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and disposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. I thank and praise You O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, You have made known to me what we asked You, You have made known to us the dream of the king. Daniel 2:20-23 Daniel was in a predicament. He was about to be put to death with all the other wise men in Babylon because no one could tell the king the interpretation of his dream - yet the king refused to reveal the dream to the wise men. An impossible task you might say, and an even harsher punishment for those who could not meet the demand. Daniel took up the challenge, went home and consulted God about the problem – that’s faith - and God came through for him. What an amazing God we serve. He orchestrates everything in our lives, yet we so often try to bypass God and do things in our own power and strength. It is now time to “LET GO and LET GOD” take over in our lives. We must just bow down and humble ourselves before God and let Him take us through life on an amazing journey that can never be repeated. Trust Him! Carl Clur Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you that You are always present in our lives, and that we can trust You to be there for us in every situation. Give us the strength to wait for Your action in our lives. We pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
