GOD IS AWESOME!!! Yesterday my family and I went to the palm deserts park for a birthday party and all my kids wanted to do was to go and play at the playground just like all the other little kids. I feel so blessed and just grateful that my little girl, even tho she is scared of a lot of things, different environments, texture and sounds....she couldnt help herself but wanting to go and play with the others. She crawled from the table from were we were sitting at all the way to the playground. Let me tell you, it might not sound like a big thing to you but it was very hard for her. She is scared to touch the grass at times so this was hard for her to overcome. She then was clear from the grass area and then she had to crawl on dirt to finally be in the playground area not to mention at the playground they have like these padded mats where the slide was. So.....praise God that she overcome the big challenge of hers. Now she had finally made it to the playground.....she sees all her little cousins running around, laughing and having a great time that she then starts to climb the stairs from the slide and she sits there, all tired!! I tell het yay baby!!! And she tells me I did it. I told her yes baby girl, you did it. It took a lot for me not to cry since I was surrounded by many people but my heart was over joyed!!!! This was a big milestone for Brianna. And being the little fighter that she is she wanted to go down the slide, so I held her hands and down she went. Ok I was like....shes gonna be scared and not want to try it again. Nope!!!! We did this a couple of times till I got tired and I said no more baby girl, she kept on crawling to the top and I told her you do it by yourself now!! she said no but she was determined she wanted to go down the slide again. She closed her eyes, and pushed herself down. I thought maybe it was an accident but she did it again and again and again on her own and I was just so proud of her not only because she is getting bigger and doing so well in a lot of areas in her life in which she has trouble with but because she alone was overcoming her fears. God is good and Im so grateful and blessed to have her as my daughter. ♥
