GOD LOVES AND HELPS US IN OUR LIVES. In the Old Testament God gave commandments, statutes and laws through Moses.God also sent many prophets to prophesy from time to time and warn people to obey his commandments, statutes and laws.But those commandments, statutes and laws were too strict and also too difficult to obey.Man could not obey them as he was weak in nature and failed miserably.There was no help from God in obeying those commandments, statutes and laws.Therefore God had to cancel the Old Testament and replace it with the new .And in New Testament we find God sending his one and only Son Jesus Christ, so that not only he would take away their sins but primarily to help them to obey commandments,statutes and laws.That is the reason Jesus said, I have come to fulfill those laws and not to abolish. And he decided to send Comforter that is the Holy Spirit who will be in them and with them for ever.In a way God came down as Son so that it will be easy for men to obey commandments, statutes and laws because Jesus is in them and with them.Today Jesus is with the those people who accept him as their savior after repenting to assist them to obey Gods commandments,statutes and laws and remain closer to his heavenly Father..
