GOD NEEDS A GOOD REPORT. Moses sent 12 spies to spy the Promised Land in Numbers Chapter 13, 10 brought a bad report while 2 brought a good report. The consequences of the 10 spies bad report denied the children of Israel the Promised Land in Numbers Chapter 14. The men that brought the evil report died by the plague before the LORD Num.14:37. Joshua sent out two men to spy Jericho, Joshua 2:1 and their good report gave victory to Israel Joshua Chapter 6. When Goliath was threatening the children of Israel, Davids good report to King Saul gave him victory over Goliath, 1 Sam.17:34-37. The LORD is asking as our KING what good report do we have to present to HIM? HE is asking again that since the year started and we are ending the month today what report do we as born-again Christians have to present to HIM? The report that the LORD needs is a report of preaching genuine repentance, walking and living in holiness and righteousness, yet HE is not getting such a report. Let us hear the Words of the LORD, Say to them, this is what the LORD says, When people fall down, do they not get up? When someone turns away, do they not return? Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem (Born-Again Christian) always turn away? They cling to deceit, they refuse to return. I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. None of them repent of their wickedness, saying, What have I done? Each pursues their own course like a horse charging into battle. Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the LORD Jer.8:4-7. The requirements of the LORD is total repentance walking and living a holy and righteous life, the requirements of GOD is to teach others and prepare them for rapture, the requirements of GOD is to win souls and keep them to live a holy and righteous life etc. How come we have abandon the sound teachings of the Word of GOD and we are running after worldly things. Thus says the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, Since they have rejected the Word of the LORD, what kind of wisdom do they have? Jer.8:9, Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches (To Born-Again Christians).
