GOD OF COMFORT 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. • Our God is the God of all comfort. • He comforts us in tribulation (troubles, problems and trials). As we are comforted by God, so He enables us to comfort others who are going through similar troubles and tribulations. In this way, good results from our tribulations and we have the privilege of sharing the love of God with others. 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. Even in trouble and tribulation there is triumph in Christ. As we comfort others, His fragrance is released through us and what the enemy plans for evil, God changes and uses for good!
