GOD! WHERE IS YOUR FACE?!! Do you feel like God isnt answering your prayer? Most of the times I do feel like crying out God! where is your face! Why all these! Jesus Christ cried out on the cross My father! My father!! Why have you forsaken me??!!. Prophet Job cried the same way I cry out to you, O God!, but you do not answer; I stand up, but you merely look at me... When I hope for good, evil came; when I look for light, then came darkness (Job 30:20&26). All of us go through times when it feels like God has moved & left no forwarding address. Whats He up to? Why doesnt He answer? There are some lessons to learn when God is silent: 1• Silence isnt lack of idea; the fact that He is silent, doesnt mean He doesnt knw what to do next. He knows all things (omniscient). He fails not. You can never be a nuisance to him. He stil loves you. He can never give up or fed up wit you. 2• Silence isnt absence; silence is gold, you have to be really secure with somebody to just sit quietly with them. (Ps 46:10). He isnt a talkative. If you want to be comfortable with God, learn to enter into meditation & silence with Him. 3• Silence tests your faith; its like a parent guarding a baby during his/her first walk. But they are going to look strange at age twenty if that parent stil hangs around him/her! At some point God took His hand off the wheel to see how far youve progressed. And for a while it can a very baaad ride. Thats when you demostrate how far youve come, & where youre placing your trust.
