GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU AS HE DID WITH THE ISRAELITES... He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore Amen. Todays message is from the book of Exodus: Israelites found themselves between a rock and a hard place when they exited Egypt. A massive Red Sea was standing in front of them, and a fierce Egyptian army was pursuing them from behind. There was no route of escape for the Abraham’s descendants. However, God intervened. He rescued Israelites in an amazing manner. He sent a massive wind to part the Red Sea into two, and he also caused the Egyptian soldiers to drown in the sea. Moreover, Israelites did not lift a finger against their enemies; God miraculously delivered them. The scripture reported how God delivered his children from troubles, “Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left” (Exodus 14: 24-29). Lesson: God’s enemies cannot accomplish their revengeful missions on the saints. They may try but they will fail, since God continuously keeps watch over his children. However, someone may not successfully predict how God would perform his miracle for his children, the Creator knows the best method to explore that would ultimately glorify his name. Prayer: Dear God, please help me to enjoy your security at all times. Engage in the battles of my life, and award me your divine victory. Let me see my expectations fulfilled over my adversaries, and let my mouth be filled with songs of victory and testimony. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
