GOD loves Man??? Are you sure, Yes? If Yes then Why? GOD so loved Man that HE sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to this world so as to save him. This is the basic argument that all quote from Scripture to demonstrate God’s Love for Man. But I would like to expose another reason from Scripture for the same; thanks to one of the meditations of St. Francis de Sales. The explicit fact that illustrates God’s Love for Man is that Man is created in the image and likeness of God. Yes, God was ready to share HIS image and likeness with Man In today’s gospel, Jesus speaks about the greatest of all commandments, LOVE: Love God than anything else with all your heart, soul, mind and strength because God created you in HIS image & likeness ; Love your neighbour as you love yourself because he too is also created in the same image and likeness of God. The commandment of Love therefore is nothing but the response that Man should make towards God’s Love. Today’s gospel Mark 12: 28-34 (Calendar Western) 28-03-14 Thy Kingdom Come (220*)
