GOD made Aaron’s rod to turn into a snake, and Pharaoh’s magicians did the same (Exodus 7:10). GOD caused water to turn into blood, and Pharaoh’s magicians did the same. (Exodus 7:22). GOD caused the land of Egypt to be filled with frogs, Pharaoh’s magicians also did the same (Exodus 8:7) But on Exodus 8:19 that’s when push came to shove, GOD caused the dust to turn into lice, Pharaoh’s magicians tried to do the same but they failed. They confessed that, “this is the Finger of GOD” They gave up, they could no longer match what was being done by GOD. The devil can try to compete with GOD, trying to create a counterfeit for GOD’s exploits. But it comes a time when he gives up as he can no longer keep up with The Mightiness of GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee. James 4:7 keep resisting him & he will give up
