GODS LOVE and GODS WRATH and GODS HOLINESS in ONE VERSE.... For God so LOVED the world that ...He POURED OUT HIS WRATH on His only begotten Son who knew no sin but became sin in behalf of sinful mankind......that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Note: It is a misconception that God in the Old Testament is more wrathful than He is in the New Testament( as in the case of Nadab and Abihu, Sodom and Gomorrah ,Achan and his family, or Uzzah)..yet no other verse would describe How God imposed His full wrath than what is described in the Love verse of John 3:16 of the New Testament. Jesus who knew no sin became Sin ( from white lies to lawlessness, to wickedness, to hypocrisy, murder, to unbelief, and sins befitting of those done by Nadab,Abihu,Uzah, those of Sodom, Gomorrah...ALL of what one can describe as Sin ). Jesus became ALL OF THESE . AND GOD POUR OUT HIS WRATH ON JESUS.....Just because of His nature/attribute called LOVE ? ..As the song says ..Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me ? To have a deeper appreciation that God indeed is LOVE is to understand His WRATH. Divine Wrath is Divine Holiness and Divine Love in action.
